As reported in August 2019, the IIS has launched a hotline for students at the UofT who are approached by CSIS field agents for an interview. The Hotline is an initiative jointly organized by the IIS, Downtown Legal Services, the National Council of Canadian Muslims and the Canadian Muslim Lawyers Association.
The Hotline serves only UofT students, regardless of race, religion, or other such background
The IIS invites students interested in learning about the hotline in relation to the broader national security regimes across Canada.
