In his award winning book, In Quest of Justice: Islamic Law and Forensic Medicine in Modern Egypt, Professor Khaled Fahmy (Cambridge University) will address the evolution of Islamic legal practices drawing upon his extensive archive of materials from 19th century Egypt. His talk is an open webinar, which will precede his graduate master class to be held later the same week.
