For the study, the IIS is looking for people who’ve been involved wth Ontario’s Children’s Aid Societies either personally or professionally.

  • Personally – Members of Muslim families who have been involved with Ontario’s Children’s Aid Societies in the past ten years who would be willing to participate in individual interviews
  • Professionally – Current or former community and not-for-profit workers who have worked with large Muslim communities as well as current or former Children’s Aid employees who have served large Muslim communities to participate in focus groups

The interviews and focus groups will discuss your experiences with Ontario’s Children’s Aid Societies. If you are interested in participating in this study, please fill out the eligibility survey at the URL below or directly in the embedded form below.

Note: All information you share will remain private. Interviews can be held online or in person. Participants will receive a $50 gift card upon completion of their interview. The study has been approved by the Research Ethics Board.
